Who Are The Buckeye Baileys?

IT'S GAME DAY!

Why, hello there! Welcome to our family blog. I thought since it's Game Day, why not get this blog started. The Buckeyes joust the Scarlet Knights in the B1G opener today and it was one hell of a victory!

As you can tell, we LOVE Ohio State, and you can all thank my husband for that! This blog will be about family, our love for football, our adventures, DIY projects, and of course our craziness! I'll go ahead and introduce my family (even though I'm pretty sure most of my readers will already know who we are).

My name is Claire, I was born and raised in Mesa, AZ. I love the Arizona desert, sunsets and monsoon season! I love to visit the snow, but there is no way in hell I would ever live in it (sorry Justin). I was going to school to become an Elementary School teacher and I received my Associates degree, but for now I've put my education on hold so I can work full time and be a full time mom and wife! I love being a mother, I'm an advocate for breastfeeding and I love encouraging new moms in doing so. I enjoy reading, learning new things, DIY projects, True Crime stories/podcasts, playing with my kids and watching football with my husband.

  

Speaking of my husband, this is Justin. We went to the same high school, but never really met until after we graduated. When we met for the first time, we automatically hit it off, and the rest is history! Justin has been an Ohio State fan his whole life! He lives and breathes everything and anything related to The Ohio State Buckeyes. He's so dedicated and in love he even has a pretty sweet tattoo to prove it. He played football his whole childhood up until senior year, when he got hurt. He lacerated his kidney, causing internal bleeding, and was unable to play his final year in high school. I can't even imagine how horrible that must have felt. Since his injury, all he has ever wanted to do is be a football coach, he looks up to Urban Meyer more than anyone. Justin is also probably the funniest person you will ever meet, his personality is what I fell in love with! He's also an amazing husband and father to our two girls. I'm so proud of the man he has become and I feel so lucky that I get to spend the rest of my life with him!

  

This is Brielle Grace! Justin and I were only 19 and 20 when she was born, but she was one of the best things that could have ever happened to us. Brielle is sassy, smart and sweet. She is also very sensitive and has a really big heart, she definitely wears her heart on her sleeve. She's so beautiful inside and out! Brielle also loves to dance and sing. She's outgoing and thinks everyone is her friend. She occasionally throws tantrums, but she is my mini me, so I would expect nothing less . But I think one of the things I love most about her is that she is the sweetest big sister I have ever seen and it fills my heart with joy when I see my girls together!

 

Our littlest member of our family, Livian Rose, or as Brielle likes to call her "Livian Rosie". Little Livie is the chillest baby, she is so her dads mini me! She is always happy, especially when she's with her big sister! She's chunky and adorable and I'm trying to enjoy every second I have with her because she's growing up way faster than her older sister did. It goes by quickly the second time around and it makes my heart ache a little bit because I know I'll blink and both my girls will be all grown up. Livian loves to get into everything and it's annoying. She crawls kind of weird  too, but whatever works kid... Also, Livian has taken after her sister and is mastering her poses for when I take a million pictures. Ugh, I've trained my children so well!

Well, that's pretty much the gist of it! I could go on and on about my family, but you'll get the idea as I continue to post. My family is young, and I'm loving every second because we have so many fun and amazing things ahead for us. We'll laugh together, we'll cry together, but the most important part is that we're together. Until next time, and take care!
